How It Works

Our Installation Process

01

Consultation

We talk through what you want to add or fix, discuss equipment options, and assess the existing wiring before anything starts.

02

Design & Plan

For multi-component installs, we plan the wiring layout and mounting locations for a clean, serviceable result.

03

Install

Components are mounted, wiring is run correctly with proper connectors, heat shrink, and marine-grade materials throughout.

04

Test & Verify

Every circuit is tested before we leave. We walk you through the new equipment and confirm everything is working as it should.

Why Professional Marine Electrical Work Matters

Marine electrical work is safety-critical. Improperly wired electronics can create fire hazards, battery drain problems, and corrosion throughout the boat's electrical system. Saltwater environments accelerate corrosion at every poorly made connection.

Proper marine electrical work uses tinned wire, heat-shrink solder connectors, properly rated fusing, and correct grounding to protect equipment and prevent problems. A GPS or stereo installed the right way lasts years longer than one wired with shortcuts.

We are licensed, insured, and experienced in marine electrical systems. Whether you need a new chartplotter installed or you have a wiring problem you cannot figure out, call us for a free estimate.

Marine Electrical Questions

Can you install a GPS chartplotter on my boat?
Yes. We install chartplotters from major brands including Garmin, Humminbird, Lowrance, and Raymarine. Installation includes mounting the unit, running power and data cables, and configuring the system.
Do you troubleshoot electrical problems on boats?
Yes. Wiring problems, corroded connections, tripped breakers, and non-functional accessories are common on saltwater boats. We diagnose and repair marine electrical issues at our Holiday shop, or on-site via mobile service if you cannot bring the boat to us.
Can you install LED lighting on my boat?
Yes. We install LED underwater lights, navigation lights, courtesy lights, and deck lighting. LED upgrades reduce battery draw and last significantly longer than traditional bulbs.
What fish finders do you install?
We work with all major brands. Whether you want a basic depth finder or a full sonar system with side scan and down scan imaging, we can install and configure it.
Can you install a VHF radio?
Yes. We install fixed-mount VHF radios and connect them to a properly grounded antenna system. Proper installation is important for range and reliability.
Do you install marine stereo systems?
Yes. We install and wire marine-grade stereo systems, amplifiers, and speakers. Marine audio equipment is designed to handle moisture and vibration that standard car audio cannot.
Can you add a second battery or upgrade my battery system?
Yes. We install dual battery systems, battery switches, and battery chargers. Adding an isolated house battery system protects your starting battery and powers electronics for longer.
Do you work on boat switch panels?
Yes. We replace, rewire, and upgrade switch panels. A properly labeled and organized switch panel makes troubleshooting much easier.
